LegionStats Privacy Policy

Who Operates This Service

LegionStats is operated by George Clark. For privacy questions or account-deletion requests, email [email protected]. Do not include passwords or verification codes.

Information We Process

LegionStats processes account details such as your display name, email address, account identifier, password hash, verification and recovery records, and sign-in sessions. If you choose Discord sign-in, we receive information needed to identify your Discord account, including your Discord identifier, profile name and verified email. Guild-related Discord features may also retrieve guild membership information.

The service stores information you enter or import, including character and equipment information, saved builds, progression, guild membership, permissions, events and other guild-management records. Character imports can retrieve publicly available game information from game-related services. Imported information is a snapshot and may change when refreshed.

Requests to the service disclose technical information such as an IP address and browser/request information to the hosting infrastructure. Operational and error logs may contain request or record details needed to investigate failures or misuse.

How Information Is Used

We use information to provide accounts and sign-in, verify email addresses, deliver password-reset messages, import and refresh character information, save your settings and builds, operate guild features, enforce permissions, and investigate service problems and misuse.

Visibility and Service Providers

Information you publish or share through character, build or guild features may be visible to other people according to the relevant feature and permissions. Guild administrators and other authorized members may access guild records. Do not enter private credentials or sensitive personal information into shared fields.

The site operator can review guild records and administer guilds across the service through a separate owner-only administration panel for service operation and support. This can include correcting records and managing guild settings or leadership roles. Guild administrator status does not grant access to that panel. Credential and account-session records are excluded from its record browser, and password and token fields are removed from those returned records.

Hosting infrastructure processes information to run the service. Resend processes email addresses and message contents for verification and password-reset delivery. Discord processes information when you use its sign-in or connected features. Game-data services process lookup requests when character data is retrieved. These providers operate under their own privacy policies, and their processing locations may differ from yours.

Connected Discord features can check your server membership and role identifiers to determine game access and free guild-creation eligibility. When available, the online-member list displays Discord widget information, such as display names and online status, to authorized users of the linked guild. The widget may not include every online member.

Cookies and Browser Storage

LegionStats uses cookies to maintain sign-in sessions and complete authentication. The player sign-in cookie has a maximum lifetime of seven days; signing in again may create a new session. Browser storage saves preferences and some local information, including build drafts and hotbar settings. Clearing cookies signs you out; clearing browser storage may remove unsaved local drafts and preferences.

Retention and Requests

Account and saved service records persist so the service can continue to provide your account, characters, builds and guild features. Authentication tokens have limited validity. Operational records and backups may remain beyond changes to active records. This policy does not promise a fixed deletion period that has not been established.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with your account through the privacy contact listed above. We may need to verify account ownership. Some records may need to be retained for security, legal obligations or legitimate shared-guild recordkeeping; we will explain applicable limitations when responding. Privacy rights vary by location.

Security

We use technical controls intended to protect information, including password hashing and access checks. No website or storage system can guarantee complete security. Publicly delivered website code and information intentionally shared with other users cannot be made secret merely by renaming files. Do not reuse your LegionStats password elsewhere. Report suspected exposure through the privacy contact without including passwords or authentication tokens.

Changes

We will update this page and its effective date when this policy changes. Material changes to how personal information is used should also be communicated through the service.

Account Deletion and Guild Ownership

You can request account deletion in Account Settings after verifying your password or linked sign-in provider. Confirmation signs you out and starts a 72-hour window. A successful new login during that window cancels deletion; requesting deletion again starts a new 72-hour window. Refreshing a page is not a new login. After the deadline, deletion is processed by a background task, which may take additional time during outages. Personal characters, builds, memberships, and authentication records are removed from active service records. Shared guild history may remain with identifying account references removed. Backup copies are handled separately and are not immediately erased. Guild owners must transfer leadership or dissolve a guild with no other members before account deletion. Dissolving a guild removes its active guild records.
